Kinship Food Center breaks ground on new community hub
Kinship Community Food Center has broken ground for its headquarters, which will act as a hub for job training, food production and crisis intervention services at North Holton Street and East Locust Street.
The new center will be 28,000 square feet and is estimated to be completed by the summer of 2027.
The organization received a $900,000 grant through Wisconsin's Non-State Grant Program and has spent over a year fundraising $15.5 million toward its $18 million goal.
